Ingredients

  • 10 large Idaho potatoes
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Cook and mash the Idaho potatoes.
  2. Add sour cream and softened cream cheese to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Smooth the top of the mashed potatoes. Optionally, cover with bread crumbs and melted butter.
  5. Cover the dish with foil.
  6. Bake in a 375°F oven for 35 minutes.
  7. This dish can be frozen or refrigerated for later use, but it requires longer cooking time when reheated.
