Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa

Instructions

  1. Mix together and sift 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, sifted flour and salt.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons cocoa, melted butter, milk and vanilla.
  3. Spread into a greased pan (9 x 13-inch).
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  5. Then sprinkle
  6. 1/2 cup white sugar on top. Then sprinkle 1/4 cup cocoa on top.
  7. Last, pour the cold water on top.
  8. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
