Deviled salmon features tender salmon blended with tomato sauce and seasoned with onion, mustard, and green pepper, topped with crumbs and lemon slices for a flavorful baked dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tomato juice, cooked down to 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 3 teaspoons dehydrated onion flakes
  • 1/4 green pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 pound canned and drained salmon
  • 6 thin slices lemon including peels
  • 1/4 cup fine crumbs

Instructions

  1. Blend tomato sauce, dehydrated onion flakes, green pepper, salt, and prepared mustard for about 15 seconds.
  2. Flake canned salmon and combine with the blended sauce; transfer to a casserole dish.
  3. Top with fine crumbs and arrange lemon slices on top.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.
