Ingredients

  • 6 oz. can frozen apple juice
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 5 cups cooked sliced apples
  • pastry for double crust pie

Instructions

  1. Mix cornstarch and apple juice and bring to a boil.
  2. Combine cinnamon, nutmeg, oleo, and cooked sliced apples; add to the boiling juice.
  3. Pour the mixture into an unbaked double crust pie shell.
  4. Place the top crust over the filling and cut several slits in the top crust.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
