Instructions
- Place onion slices in a large Ziploc bag.
- Pour in soy sauce and lemon juice.
- Add black pepper; close the bag and shake to combine.
- Add your choice of meat to the bag.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes but no longer than 1 hour.
- Grill to desired doneness.
- Discard leftover marinade.
- If using as a sauce, place all ingredients in a bowl, stir, and cover.
- Let sit for at least one hour at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a day.
