Do It Yourself Quiche
Ingredients
- 6 eggs, beaten ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. half and half or light cream ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 c. chopped, cooked meat, seafood, poultry or vegetables (suggested vegetables: spinach, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli or zucchini) ⓘ
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust shell ⓘ
Instructions
- Beat together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
- Toss together meat, cheese and flour.
- Add to egg mixture.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake pie on cookie sheet in 400° oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes before serving.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
