Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boiling potatoes
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 26 oz. canned sea clams
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
  • dash ground thyme

Instructions

  1. Peel and boil the potatoes.
  2. Drain and lightly mash the potatoes.
  3. Put the canned sea clams in a pot and heat them.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes and seasonings to the clam mixture.
  5. Let the mixture simmer gently.
  6. Heat the half and half and whipping cream separately.
  7. Add the heated milk and cream mixture to the clam and potato mixture.
  8. Stir in butter before serving.
