  1. Cut each chocolate square into 4 pieces.
  2. Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
  3. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Add chopped chocolate to the remaining ingredients.
  5. Carefully add the boiling sugar syrup; stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
  7. Chill until set, then cut into squares.
