Ingredients

  • 2 large baking potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • instant mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings)
  • 1/2 tsp. instant minced onions
  • 1 1/2 oz. sharp processed American cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Scrub potatoes and do not peel.
  2. Cut each potato lengthwise into 3 thick slices.
  3. Place the potato slices in a baking dish, cut side up.
  4. Drizzle the slices with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
