- Brown ground beef; drain. Place cubed potatoes in Dutch oven; cover with water. Boil until tender. Leaving potatoes and water in pot, add ground beef, diced onion or flakes, kidney beans, salt, Season-All and ketchup to taste (approximately 1 cup). Simmer 30 minutes.
