Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 lb. beef, cut into 1 inch square
  • 2 medium onions, peeled and chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 2 cans (10 oz.) beef consomme
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 pack (10 oz.) frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a Dutch oven and brown the beef.
  2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add celery salt, parsley, one can of consomme, and one cup of water.
  4. Simmer for 1 hour.
