Ingredients

  • 13 oz. can chicken broth
  • 1 stalk celery with leaves

  • dash bottled hot pepper sauce
  • dash ground ginger
  • 1 well beaten egg

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the chicken broth, chopped celery with leaves, sliced green onion, bottled hot pepper sauce, and ground ginger.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Slowly pour the beaten egg into the hot soup while stirring gently to form thin shreds.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Serve immediately.
