Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 small carrot
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano

Instructions

  1. Add stew meat to about 2 quarts of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Cook until the meat is browned and tender, adding extra water if needed.
  3. Add tomato sauce, cubed potatoes, and sliced carrot to the pot.
  4. Cook until the potatoes and carrots are done.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.
  6. Bring the mixture to a vigorous boil and add macaroni.
  7. Cook until the macaroni is tender, about 10 minutes.
