Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Mix butter and sugar by hand until well combined.
  2. Add flour and mix very well by hand to form a dough.
  3. Lightly butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Press the dough into the prepared pan and prick it with a fork.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Cut into pieces immediately after baking and let cool.
