Ingredients

  • 10 caramel candies
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 cups Rome apples, chopped in 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 9-inch pie shell

Instructions

  1. Combine the caramel candies (cut into 4 pieces each) and flour in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add chopped apples, caramel ice cream topping, and lemon juice; mix well.
  3. Pour the apple and caramel mixture into the frozen pie shell.
  4. Sprinkle the pecans over the top of the filling.
  5. Bake at 375°F on a preheated baking sheet for 40 to 45 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Do not refrigerate.
