- Spread 1 can of crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, pinching together to eliminate gaps.
- Cream together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly over the rolls.
- Unroll the remaining can of crescent rolls and layer on top of the cream cheese mixture, pinching together the edges.
- Beat the egg white and brush it over the top crust.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Chill the dessert before cutting into squares and serving.
