Ingredients

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon prepared sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except sour cream and chives and place in a 1-quart crock or casserole.
  2. Bake, covered, at 325°F for 1 hour. If too juicy, uncover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  3. Serve with side dishes of sour cream and chopped chives for topping.
