Ingredients

  • 10 oz. can Del Monte tender green asparagus cut spears
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 egg white, beaten

Instructions

  1. Drain the asparagus, reserving a few pieces for garnish.
  2. Place the remaining asparagus in a shallow 1-quart baking dish with red pepper.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onions.
  4. Fold in the beaten egg white until well mixed.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture over the asparagus.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until heated through.
  7. Garnish with reserved asparagus pieces before serving.
