Easy Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups Prego traditional spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Dip chicken breasts into beaten egg.
  2. Coat chicken with bread crumbs.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken for 10 minutes or until done, then set aside.
  5. In the same pan, heat Prego spaghetti sauce to a boil.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet with sauce.
  7. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly heated.
  8. Top chicken with shredded mozzarella cheese and heat until cheese is melted.
  9. Serve with cooked spaghetti.
  10. Top with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
