A quick and flavorful steamed fish dish featuring tender fillets infused with sesame oil, soy sauce, sherry, green onions, and ginger—perfect for a light, tasty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. firm fish fillets
  • dash of sesame oil
  • dash of soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Wrap fish fillets in aluminum foil, leaving a small opening at the top.
  2. Add a dash of sesame oil, soy sauce, and sherry over the fish.
  3. Top with julienned green onions and julienned ginger to taste.
  4. Fill a large frypan about 1/4 full with water and bring to a simmer.
  5. Place the wrapped fish in the foil into the frypan, cover, and steam for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
