Easy Good Pierogi

Delicious homemade pierogi with creamy potato filling, lightly fried to golden perfection, perfect for comfort food lovers and suitable for family dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • dash of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 potatoes

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender.
  2. Add Cheez Whiz and mash with a potato masher to make the filling.
  3. Mix flour, sour cream, salt, and eggs to make the dough.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  5. Cut out circles using a biscuit cutter or glass.
  6. Place about 1 1/2 teaspoons of filling on each circle.
  7. Fold the circle in half and press with a fork to seal.
  8. Boil the pierogi in water until they float.
  9. Fry the boiled pierogi in butter and onions until lightly browned on each side.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
