Easy Ham & Rice Bake

Ingredients

  • 3 -3 12 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cubed ham
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 cup white cheddar cheese
  • 12 teaspoon pepper (or less to taste)
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a deep dish pie pan or 1 1/2 quart covered baking dish.
  3. Place diced ham and onion in bottom of dish.
  4. Cover with rice.
  5. Whisk egg and mayo into milk .
  6. Pour liquid over rice mixture.
  7. Dot with butter, sprinkle with pepper.
  8. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes.
  9. Remove cover.
  10. Sprinkle with cheeses and paprika.
  11. Let set for 5-10 before serving.
  12. Great with green beans and tomato slices.
