Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter (soft)
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. peppermint or almond extract
  • few drops of desired food coloring

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Knead mixture until smooth.
  3. Shape mints in candy mold or by shaping by hand. Place on cookie sheet; cover with paper towel.
  4. Let dry.
  5. Store in airtight container.
  6. Yields 6 dozen.
