Creamy, rich oven fudge with deep cocoa flavor, melting oleo, and smooth vanilla, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings or sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 pound oleo
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a 2 1/2-quart ovenproof bowl, add milk, oleo, and cocoa powder.
  3. Dump in powdered sugar over the top without stirring.
  4. Place in oven, uncovered, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until oleo is completely melted.
  5. Remove from oven and add vanilla.
  6. Beat with an electric mixer on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth.
  7. (Optional) Add nuts if desired.
  8. Spread in a buttered 8-inch pan and refrigerate until firm.
