Easy Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. shrimp, peeled
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • hot cooked linguine or fettuccini

Instructions

  1. Cook onion and garlic in butter in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Add dried tarragon, lemon juice, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to the skillet.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 to 6 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
  5. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the shrimp.
  6. Serve the shrimp scampi over hot cooked linguine or fettuccini.
