Ingredients

  • 3 lb. stew meat
  • 2 onions
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 2 c. chopped carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 can tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Arrange the stew meat, onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes in a large pot in the order listed.
  2. Sprinkle sugar, salt, pepper, and tapioca over the ingredients.
  3. Pour the can of tomato soup over the top.
  4. Add 1/4 can of water and pour over the mixture.
  5. Cover the pot and bake at 250°F for 5 hours, stirring once or twice during baking.
