Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 12 ounces shredded Cheddar or Longhorn cheese
  • 9 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. The night before, butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and layer the seasoned croutons, browned pork sausage, and shredded cheese.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, and dry mustard together, then pour over the layered ingredients in the pan.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Uncover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour until set and golden.
