Ingredients

  • 2 c. chicken stock or consomme
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat chicken stock or consomme to boiling.
  2. Dribble the well-stirred egg gradually into the boiling stock, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the soy sauce and salt (do not add salt if consomme is used).
  4. Add one thinly sliced green onion to the soup.
