- Combine mayonnaise, salt, white pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped onion in a bowl.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth, then add grated cheese.
- Cook over low heat until the cheese melts and the mixture is thick and smooth, about five minutes.
- Divide two tablespoons of the mixture into the bottom of each of six custard cups.
- Break an egg into each cup on top of the mixture.
- Add another two tablespoons of the mixture on top of each egg.
- Place the cups in a shallow pan containing one inch of hot water.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes until set.
