Eight Layer Overnight Salad
Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, chopped and drained
- 1 c. celery, sliced ⓘ
- 1 c. green pepper, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 1 c. onion, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 1 pkg. frozen green peas, slightly thawed (I use Birds Eye tiny deluxe ones) ⓘ
- 1 c. mayonnaise (I use half sour cream) ⓘ
- grated Cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 8 to 10 strips bacon, crumbled ⓘ
- sliced, hard-boiled eggs (top with) ⓘ
Instructions
- Make in layers as listed.
- Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Can be made in deep bowl or baking dish, not so deep.
- Very good!
- Serves 10 to 12.
