- Prepare the ground beef with taco seasoning following the package directions.
- Add tomato sauce to the cooked meat and mix well.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese, chopped chilies, and sliced olives.
- Crush half of the tortilla chips and spread them in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
- Layer half of the meat mixture over the chips.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture over the meat layer.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese over the cheese layer.
- Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients, ending with Monterey Jack cheese on top.
- Top with remaining crushed tortilla chips.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
