Electric Chicken

Ingredients

  • cut up chicken
  • flour to cover
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • chunks of green pepper
  • chunks of pineapple
  • garlic, salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Flour chicken and brown in oil at 250°.
  2. Drain chicken and pour off oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix small amount of water with 2 tablespoons of flour, then add rest of ingredients; mix well. Return chicken to skillet and pour liquid mixture over chicken. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with rice or noodles and green vegetable.
