Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking molasses
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup suet, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, adding salt to taste.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased mold.
  3. Steam the pudding for 2 hours.
