- In a 9 x 3-inch spring-form pan, mix crushed almond macaroons and softened butter.
- Press the mixture on the bottom and around the side of the pan to within 1 inch of the top.
- Set aside.
- Note: You can also use 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs and 2 teaspoons almond extract as a substitute for the macaroons.
