Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed strong dark roast coffee
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 14 cup dark brown mustard
  • 13 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons citrus juice, lemon, lime, orange
  • 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and heat to a boil.
  2. Lower the heat; simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Best if made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
  4. Store in an airtight container for up to 30 days.
  5. Yields: 2 1/2 cups.
