Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla together until fully blended.
  2. Pour the mixture into an 8 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
  3. Lightly sprinkle nutmeg over the top (optional).
  4. Place in a preheated 350°F oven and bake for 60 minutes, until a knife inserted into the custard comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let fully cool and set.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
  7. Cut into 3 x 3 inch squares to serve.
