Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 package Kraft miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and sugar together.
  2. Blend in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Add sifted flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and cover the top with miniature marshmallows.
  8. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes until marshmallows are slightly melted.
  9. Allow to cool.
  10. Frost with chocolate frosting.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.
