Fall Salad

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine crushed pineapple (undrained) and sugar.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
- Add lemon jello and stir until dissolved.
- Add softened cream cheese and stir until mixture is thoroughly combined.
- Allow to cool.
- Fold in finely diced unpeeled apples, chopped celery, chopped nuts, and whipped topping.
- Pour into a 9-inch square baking pan.
- Chill until firm.
- Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
