Ingredients

  • 4 cups baby carrots or carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup scallions or green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, cook carrots in boiling water until tender (7 to 9 minutes).
  2. Add scallions; cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Drain well. Stir in butter, honey, and salt; heat thoroughly.
