Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Spray a 13 x 9-inch pan with Pam.
  2. Spread coconut and chopped pecans over the bottom of the pan.
  3. Mix the German chocolate cake mix as instructed on the box.
  4. Pour the cake batter over the coconut and pecans in the pan.
  5. Soften the butter and cream cheese.
  6. Mix the softened butter and cream cheese with the confectioners sugar to create the frosting.
  7. Pour the frosting mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes until cooked through.
