Ingredients

  • 1 cup unpopped corn
  • 1/4 cup Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn and remove any old maids.
  2. Combine Karo syrup, brown sugar, butter, and nuts in a pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil the mixture for 2 minutes once it has started.
  4. Put the popped popcorn into a large clean grocery bag.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
