Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 20 oz. can pineapple slices, drained
  • 1/4 cup rum, warmed

Instructions

  1. Cook butter and brown sugar over medium heat until melted and combined.
  2. Add pineapple slices and reduce heat to low. Cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Turn the pineapple slices to cook the other side until soft.
  4. Add warmed rum to the pan and carefully ignite to flambé. Stay clear of the flames while the alcohol burns off.
