Quick and fun doughnuts with a soft, flaky texture, coated in cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar, perfect for a sweet snack or dessert for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1 can biscuits
  • powdered sugar
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Separate the biscuit dough from the can of biscuits.
  2. Use a small cookie cutter or bottle cap to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to about 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the doughnuts in hot oil until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the doughnuts and drain on paper towels.
  6. Shake the warm doughnuts in a bag with cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar until coated.
  7. Optionally, ice the doughnuts before serving.
  8. Serve immediately.
