Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon tarragon

Instructions

  1. Put water, cornstarch, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a blender and blend for half a minute on high speed.
  2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and stir constantly on high heat until it comes to a boil.
  3. Boil hard for half a minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Whisk in the celery seed, thyme, and tarragon.
  6. Allow the dressing to cool.
  7. Store in a sealed container; will keep for 3 weeks.
