Ingredients

  • 3 (12 oz.) packages frozen hash browns
  • 2 cans cream of potato soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix frozen hash browns, cream of potato soup, sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a large casserole dish.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
