A creamy, sweet and salty pretzel crust cheesecake layered with cherry pie filling and topped with crushed pretzels, perfect for a crowd or special dessert occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup oleo
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 packages Dream Whip
  • 1 (6 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed pretzels, oleo, and sugar together.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with the pretzel mixture, saving some for topping.
  3. Prepare Dream Whip according to package directions.
  4. Refrigerate the prepared Dream Whip mixture.
  5. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, then fold in the prepared Dream Whip.
  6. Spread the cream cheese and Dream Whip mixture over the pretzel crust.
  7. Cover with 32 ounces of cherry pie filling.
  8. Sprinkle remaining crushed pretzels on top.
  9. Refrigerate the dessert for 24 hours before serving.
