Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3-4 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 1/2 cups milk
  • 15 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix the yellow cake mix as directed on the package and bake in a large 17 inch x 11 inch x 2 1/4 inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. Check the cake with a toothpick to ensure doneness.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  4. Cream the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Blend on low speed for 2 minutes.
  6. Let the pudding mixture rest until it thickens.
  7. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  8. Layer the drained crushed pineapple over the pudding layer.
  9. Add sliced bananas on top of the pineapple layer.
  10. Spread Cool Whip on top of the bananas and garnish with shredded coconut.
