Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 medium potatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes until tender and mash.
  2. Add cream cheese and sour cream; mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Gradually add milk and blend well.
  4. Transfer the mashed potatoes to a buttered 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.
  5. Brush the top with melted butter or margarine.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
