Fiery Hot Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large shrimp
  • 1 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 tsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 1 stick plus 5 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 c. shrimp stock
  • 1/4 c. warm beer

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and devein shrimp.
  2. Place shrimp shells in a 2 quart saucepan; add
  3. 1/4 onion and a stalk of celery.
  4. Cover with water.
  5. Bring to
  6. a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 35 minutes. Strain and

  8. aside.
