Fiery Hot Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 lb. large shrimp ⓘ
- 1 tsp. ground red pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. dried oregano leaves ⓘ
- 1 stick plus 5 Tbsp. unsalted butter ⓘ
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 2/3 c. shrimp stock ⓘ
- 1/4 c. warm beer ⓘ
Instructions
- Wash, peel and devein shrimp.
- Place shrimp shells in a 2 quart saucepan; add
- 1/4 onion and a stalk of celery.
- Cover with water.
- Bring to
- a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 35 minutes. Strain and
- set
- aside.
- This
- is
- your shrimp stock you'll need.
