Ingredients

  • 2 c. mashed pinto beans
  • bean liquid
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 mashed clove of garlic
  • 1 chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 1 tsp. jalapeno liquid

Instructions

  1. Combine mashed pinto beans and enough bean liquid to make a dipping consistency in a saucepan.
  2. Add minced onion, mashed garlic, chopped jalapeno, and jalapeno liquid; mix well.
  3. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted.
  4. Serve hot with tortillas or chill and serve with chips.
